What Geodata AS gives you
The data, and what it decides
For Placepoint users, this means that much of the content in the map layers for demographics, business, risk and energy comes as ready-compiled services from Geodata, not directly from each original data owner. This gives breadth and frequent updates, but it also means that changes made by an underlying data owner can take some time to appear in Placepoint.
Geodata is the market leader in Norway for geographic data and technology. Does it cost extra?
The datasets are part of your Placepoint subscription. Where the source charges a fee for individual documents, such as registered documents from Kartverket, the price follows the source's fee.
