Nasjonal kommunikasjonsmyndighet (Nkom) is the Norwegian regulator for the electronic communications sector: mobile and broadband networks, post and spectrum management. Nkom reports to the Ministry of Digitalisation and Public Governance (since 2024). Among other things, it manages Norway's national broadband mapping, the data behind Placepoint's Broadband coverage map layer.
