What we do

Placepoint brings together property data from public and private sources, so you can understand properties, prospect, analyse value, assess risk and manage portfolios. Faster and with more confidence.

We are a Norwegian company with offices in Oslo and Stockholm. Placepoint, PropCloud and Placepoint Maps come together in Fusion from 1 October 2026, and Combify covers Sweden.

Our journey

Three companies became one. Then came Sweden.

Three teams in Oslo, in Porsgrunn and at Newsec saw the same problem and each built their own solution. Today there is one platform, and the team works in Oslo and Stockholm, Porsgrunn and Dhaka.

2019Placepoint starts in OsloAn internal property tool becomes a product, backed by Daimyo.
2020Newsec Maps is foundedMap-based property analysis takes shape at Newsec.
2021Launch, and PropCloud is foundedPlacepoint launches in September. PropCloud starts in Porsgrunn, focusing on insurance and credit.
Sep 2024Placepoint and PropCloud mergeTwo products, two customer bases and two teams become one company. The same month: a partnership with Mestergruppen.
Dec 2024Acquires Newsec MapsThree platforms under one roof. Customers keep their current solution while we build a single one.
2025Partnerships and integrationStrategic partnerships with Visma Property Solutions and Tietoevry. We integrate the three platforms into one.
May 2026Acquires Vogl and SpeizMore datasets and more analysis added to the same data foundation.
Jul 2026Acquires Combify, enters Sweden4.2 million properties, building permits and detailed plans in all 290 municipalities.
Oct 2026Fusion launchesOne product for what used to be Placepoint, PropCloud and Placepoint Maps, with Placepoint AI and the Placepoint API built on the same foundation.
