Entur, already linked to every property.

Entur AS is a state-owned technology company under the Norwegian Ministry of Transport. It is the national hub for public transport data in Norway. The company gathers routes, stops and timetables from every public transport company in the country: bus companies, NSB/Vy/SJ, county transport companies, ferries and light rail. It publishes this as open data through the national stop register, Nasjonalt stoppestedsregister (NSR), and NeTEx-based route data services.

What Entur gives you

The data, and what it decides

For a property developer, access to public transport is a critical location factor. Walking distance to the metro, a tram or a frequent bus route clearly raises the value of both housing and commercial property, and can decide the parking standard in zoning plans. For a broker, the same data is useful when preparing sales listings and valuations.

Entur is a state-owned technology company working to make it easier to choose public transport across Norway. With Entur you find buses, trams, trains, metro lines, ferries, e-scooters and city bikes in one place. Using the data we receive, we build the Entur app for travellers, and digital services that the whole Norwegian public transport sector can use.

Entur

Registers, maps and services as the vendor publishes them.

Collection

We collect from the source, not from a copy of a copy, as often as the source is updated.

Normalisation

Linked to cadastre number and Organization Number, quality-assured, with source and date on every field.

Your workspace

Map, property panel, reports, Placepoint API and MCP.

Why Entur in Placepoint

The register is free. The time it takes to use it is not.

One lookup, not one portal per source

Entur is one of 37 vendors. The data sits on the property alongside registers, plans and risk data from the others.

Linked to the right property

We link the data to the cadastre number before you open the map. No keys, no import.

Updated when the source is

Updates follow the source: weekly, yearly. Every field shows its date.

Traceable back to the source

Every dataset is marked with Entur as the vendor, so you can document your sources in a report.

How to get started

Frequently asked questions

Questions about the Entur data

Ask a question
How up to date is the data from Entur?

The table above shows how often each dataset is updated, which follows the source. Every field in Placepoint shows its source and date.

Can we use the data from Entur in our own systems?

Yes. The Placepoint API exposes the same datasets programmatically, and the MCP server makes them available to AI agents. You can export extracts and reports from the platform.

Does it cost extra?

The datasets are part of your Placepoint subscription. Where the source charges a fee for individual documents, such as registered documents from Kartverket, the price follows the source's fee.

Are we missing a source you use?

Tell us at support@placepoint.no. We add sources all the time, often because a customer asked for one we did not have.
