Fitness centre, already linked to every property.
The dataset shows all fitness centres in Norway, with date of establishment, chain affiliation, website, number of employees and operating status. It is part of the map layers for business. For a home buyer, being close to fitness facilities is a well-known measure of appeal. For a commercial estate agent, it is a signal of retail footfall and spending patterns in an area.

Geodata AS compiles this data for Placepoint from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities (Enhetsregisteret) in Brønnøysundregistrene. As a result, businesses that are not registered in Enhetsregisteret, for whatever reason, do not appear in Placepoint. The fitness chain EVO is the obvious example and is currently left out. This is a general limitation that applies to all business locations based on BRREG, including pharmacies, fuel stations, the wine monopoly, garden centres, shopping centres and more.

About the datasetHow often are fitness centres updated?
Weekly. The frequency follows the source and is shown on the dataset in Placepoint.
Where does the data come from?
From Geodata AS. We collect and quality-check the data and place it on the correct property, with source and date on every field.
How do I see fitness centres for a property?
Look up the address in Fusion and turn on the Business map layer. The dataset is a separate layer there, and the details appear in the property panel when you click on the map.
Can I get the dataset programmatically?
Yes. The same data is available in Placepoint API and in Placepoint AI through MCP, so you can bring it into your own systems and agents.
