Lessees, already linked to every property.
The dataset shows all leasehold plots in Norway: parts of a property where there is a time-limited lease between the land owner and the leaseholder. Leasehold is a central legal arrangement in Norwegian property: the leaseholder builds and lives on the plot but does not own it, and pays an annual ground rent that can be adjusted under the rules in the Ground Lease Act (tomtefesteloven).

What the dataset contains
Lessees in Placepoint
The dataset shows all leasehold plots in Norway: parts of a property where there is a time-limited lease between the land owner and the leaseholder. Leasehold is a central legal arrangement in Norwegian property: the leaseholder builds and lives on the plot but does not own it, and pays an annual ground rent that can be adjusted under the rules in the Ground Lease Act (tomtefesteloven). For brokers and valuers, this is essential information for prospectuses and valuations, because the remaining lease term and the right to redeem affect both market value and financing.
The dataset comes from the matrikkel and is distributed through Kartverket. In Placepoint, you see leasehold arrangements directly in the property panel when you click a property. You can also show them as a separate map layer under Property.
This text is based on the dataset documentation, synced 16 October 2026.

About the datasetHow often is Lessees updated?
Daily. The frequency follows the source and is shown on the dataset in Placepoint.
Where does the data come from?
From Kartverket. We collect the data, check its quality and place it on the right property, with the source and date on every field.
How do I see Lessees for a property?
Look up the address in Fusion and turn on the Property map layer. The dataset is a separate layer there, and the details appear in the property panel when you click on the map.
Can I get the dataset programmatically?
Yes. The same data is available in Placepoint API and in Placepoint AI through MCP, so you can bring it into your own systems and agents.
