Kartverket supplies the dataset. It is the housing extract from the building register in the matrikkel. It is part of the Property map layer and a central part of the property panel. Related extracts from the same source: Commercial buildings, Sports, culture and religious buildings, Infrastructure buildings, Agriculture and fisheries buildings and Public and similar buildings. Building age uses the same building geometry.

One to two days' delay after registration in the matrikkel.

Questions

About apartment buildings

Ask a question
How often is the Apartment building dataset updated?

Daily. The frequency follows the source and is shown on the dataset in Placepoint.

Where does the data come from?

From Kartverket. We collect the data, check its quality and place it on the right property, with the source and date on every field.

How do I see apartment buildings on a property?

Look up the address in Fusion and turn on the Property map layer. The dataset is a separate layer there, and the details appear in the property panel when you click on the map.

Can I get the dataset programmatically?

Yes. The same data is available in Placepoint API and in Placepoint AI through MCP, so you can bring it into your own systems and agents.
