Upper secondary schools in Placepoint
All public and private upper secondary schools in Norway from the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training's National School Register (NSR), with contact information, ownership form, number of pupils and county authority. NSR is updated against Brønnøysundregistrene's business and enterprise registers and the Primary School Information System (GSI), and records the situation as of 1 October each year. Position accuracy may differ slightly for some schools.
For residential developers, proximity to an upper secondary school matters most for housing projects aimed at families with teenagers. It is one of several location indicators used in prospectuses and area analyses. Depending on field of study and applicant profile, admission areas and ranking rules can also affect which schools a family can actually get into. Part of Placepoint's map layers for education.
