What the dataset contains
Growing companies in Placepoint
Our derived overview of companies that grow by at least 10 employees or 25% at the same address over an 18-month period. Public sector company types (municipalities, agencies, public enterprises) and minor changes are filtered out. The dataset is based on employment and business data from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities at Brønnøysundregistrene and linked accounting registers.
For commercial property brokers, growing companies are one of the most direct deal indicators in the office market. A company with 10 or more employees than 18 months ago will typically need larger premises within 6 to 12 months. This makes the dataset a useful early signal for contacting clients before they contact you. For developers, it also helps you assess demand for office buildings in an area.
