Public Transport Density, linked to every property.
Placepoint's classification of public transport departure density within each municipality, in five levels: Highest, High, Medium, Low, Lowest. The dataset is based on route data from Entur and often correlates with footfall.

What the dataset contains
Public Transport Density in Placepoint
Placepoint's classification of public transport departure density within each municipality, in five levels: Highest, High, Medium, Low, Lowest. The dataset is based on route data from Entur and often correlates with footfall. The classification is relative to the municipality as a whole, not the national average. A "Highest" basic statistical unit in Lakselv has far fewer departures than a "Highest" basic statistical unit in Oslo.
For residential developers, departure density is a more precise measure of public transport access than walking distance alone. A stop with buses every 15 minutes is worth far more to a home than one with a few departures a day. For commercial estate agents, the dataset is relevant when choosing office locations. About the datasetElectric cars
Number of privately owned electric cars per 100 x 100 m grid cell, taken from Statens vegvesen's motor vehicle register and anonymised and aggregated.
About the datasetHow often is Public Transport Density updated?
Annually. The frequency follows the source and is shown on the dataset in Placepoint.
Where does the data come from?
From Placepoint. We collect and quality-check the data, then link it to the right property, with the source and date on every field.
How do I see Public Transport Density on a property?
Look up the address in Fusion and turn on the Transport and communications map layer. The dataset has its own layer, and the details appear in the property panel when you click on the map.
Can I get the dataset programmatically?
Yes. The same data is available in Placepoint API and in Placepoint AI through MCP, so you can bring it into your own systems and agents.
