Developer activity, already linked to every property.
Areas with ongoing or planned new activity in the near future, based on data in the matrikkel. Typically this means new bruksnummer (plot numbers), newly created parcels and notified new buildings. Building changes (conversions, extensions and added storeys) are not included. The dataset focuses on new activity, not changes to existing buildings.

What the dataset contains
Developer activity in Placepoint
Areas with ongoing or planned new activity in the near future, based on data in the matrikkel. Typically this means new bruksnummer (plot numbers), newly created parcels and notified new buildings. Building changes (conversions, extensions and added storeys) are not included. The dataset focuses on new activity, not changes to existing buildings.
For a property developer or consultant, the dataset is an efficient way to find new-build areas and ongoing development projects, and it is central to site search and matching in Placepoint. Distributed by Kartverket. Related: Housing and area reserve (Oslo) for development pressure specific to Oslo, Regulation plan proposals for what has been submitted at the planning stage.

About the datasetBuildings in 3D
Contains buildings across Norway, derived from FKB, aerial photos and LiDAR data (laser).
About the datasetBuilding age
Detailed overview of the year buildings across Norway were built, based on the information municipalities have registered in the matrikkel, with building geometry from Felles kartdatabase (FKB).
About the datasetCoverage Map Case Access
Shows which municipalities we collect public records lists from to power the Saksinnsyn feature.
About the datasetHow often is developer activity updated?
Daily. The frequency follows the source and is shown on the dataset in Placepoint.
Where does the data come from?
From Kartverket. We collect the data, check its quality and place it on the right property, with the source and date on every field.
How do I see developer activity for a property?
Look up the address in Fusion and turn on the Property map layer. The dataset is a separate layer there, and the details appear in the property panel when you click on the map.
Can I get the dataset programmatically?
Yes. The same data is available in Placepoint API and in Placepoint AI through MCP, so you can bring it into your own systems and agents.
