One lookup, not one portal per source

Datavert · Sweden
Statistiska centralbyrån (SCB) is Sweden's national statistics office, a government agency under the Ministry of Finance. It produces and publishes official statistics at national, regional and municipal level on the economy, population and society, and makes the figures openly available through Statistikdatabasen.
What Statistiska centralbyrån gives you
Today, Placepoint does not fetch any Swedish datasets through SCB. Combify, which we use to cover Swedish property, names Lantmäteriet's property register and Skatteverket's tax assessment values (taxeringsvärden) as the sources behind its property data, not SCB. We quote one figure directly from SCB: Lantmäteriet granted around 130,000 title registrations (lagfarter) in Sweden in 2025. This is market statistics for the whole Swedish property market, not a measure of Placepoint's own coverage. Combify holds the current title registration for each property, not the transfer history behind it, so that figure comes from SCB and not from our own data. The Norwegian counterpart is Statistisk sentralbyrå (SSB). Both are the national, professionally independent statistics authority, both publish population and property statistics openly through a public statistics bank, and the comparison holds well in both directions. The SCB figure also shows that transaction volume in the Swedish property market is close to the Norwegian one, even though Placepoint today only shows who is registered as owner right now, not the transfer history the figure is based on.
SCB's main task is to provide users and customers with statistics for decision-making, debate and research.

How to get started
We show you the data on properties you know.
Use an address, cadastre number or the map. The panel shows what is registered on the property.
The layers from this source are in the layer picker, sorted by category.
The Placepoint API and the MCP server give you the same data programmatically.
The table above shows how often each dataset is updated, which follows the source. Every field in Placepoint shows its source and date.
Yes. The Placepoint API exposes the same datasets programmatically, and the MCP server makes them available to AI agents. You can export extracts and reports from the platform.
The datasets are part of your Placepoint subscription. Where the source charges a fee for individual documents, such as registered documents from Kartverket, the price follows the source's fee.
