Datavert · Sweden
Skatteverket is the Swedish Tax Agency. As well as collecting tax, it runs folkbokföringen, the Swedish population register, and carries out fastighetstaxering: the statutory assessment of every property that sets its tax assessment value (taxeringsvärde).
What Skatteverket gives you
Skatteverket's tax assessment classes, together with Lantmäteriet's property register, are the basis of the property data we fetch through Combify. The Norwegian counterpart is Skatteetaten. Both agencies set a tax value on property, but the values are not comparable. The taxeringsvärde is a public, published attribute of the property itself, set on a fixed cycle at about 75% of market value. The Norwegian wealth tax value (formuesverdi), by contrast, is tied to each owner's tax return, not a fixed figure on the property, and it is not publicly available in the same way.
The tax assessment value is a combined value of a property, or a tax assessment unit, set through property tax assessment. For small houses, the tax assessment value affects tax, fees and the valuation of the property, among other things. The tax assessment value must correspond to 75% of the probable market value for properties in the value area, two years before the assessment year, known as the level year.

How to get started
We show you the data on properties you know.
Use an address, cadastre number or the map. The panel shows what is registered on the property.
The layers from this source are in the layer picker, sorted by category.
The Placepoint API and the MCP server give you the same data programmatically.
The table above shows how often each dataset is updated, which follows the source. Every field in Placepoint shows its source and date.
Yes. The Placepoint API exposes the same datasets programmatically, and the MCP server makes them available to AI agents. You can export extracts and reports from the platform.
The datasets are part of your Placepoint subscription. Where the source charges a fee for individual documents, such as registered documents from Kartverket, the price follows the source's fee.
