Bolagsverket is the Swedish government agency that registers businesses. All Swedish companies, associations and other types of organisation get their organisationsnummer here. Bolagsverket also receives and archives årsredovisningar: the annual accounts that limited companies and many other types of business must file by law each year.

What Bolagsverket gives you
The data, and what it decides
Combify describes its own source of company data as the official Swedish business registers, organisationsnummer and filed annual accounts. That is exactly the role Bolagsverket plays in the Swedish system. The Norwegian counterpart is Brønnøysundregistrene (BRREG). Both are the national agency that registers businesses and receives annual accounts, and both registers are the starting point for finding the ownership structure and who is behind a business. One difference is worth noting: BRREG brings several related registers under one roof, including Konkursregisteret (the bankruptcy register) and the register of beneficial owners. We have not assumed that Bolagsverket covers as much, so we only describe what we can document: organisationsnummer and årsredovisningar.
For a property developer or broker, this is the register to use to find out who actually owns a Swedish fastighet (property) through a company, or which bostadsrättsförening (housing cooperative) is behind a given apartment. Norwegian Placepoint users ask BRREG the same question every day, only about a boligsameie or borettslag structure rather than a bostadsrättsförening.

Does it cost extra?
The datasets are part of your Placepoint subscription. Where the source charges a fee for individual documents, such as registered documents from Kartverket, the price follows the source's fee.
