Miljømerking Norge manages the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, the official Nordic ecolabel, in Norway. It supplies the Nordic Swan Ecolabel part of the Environmental Certifications dataset to Placepoint. The foundation was set up by the government ministry then responsible for consumer affairs. The authorities in all the Nordic countries support it financially and professionally.

What Miljømerking Norge gives you
The data, and what it decides
If you use Placepoint for ESG reporting, the EU taxonomy or sustainable portfolios, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel is one of three main certifications. It appears alongside BREEAM and LEED in the Environmental Certifications dataset.
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel makes it easy for consumers, businesses and the public sector to contribute to the green transition. It is the official and best-known ecolabel in the Nordic region, and the authorities in all the Nordic countries support it. The Ministry of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion (the consumer affairs ministry) set up Miljømerking Norge to manage the official ecolabel in Norway.
