The Norwegian Agriculture Agency (Landbruksdirektoratet) is the specialist agency under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food that puts national agricultural policy into practice. It manages the Reindeer Husbandry Administration and the digital records of land use for reindeer husbandry in Norway. This dataset covers reindeer grazing areas, migration routes, gathering sites and siidas (Sámi herding units). It is a key constraint in zoning plans and impact assessments in the Sámi areas from Hedmark to Finnmark.
