Ministry of Culture and Equality, already linked to every property.

The Ministry of Culture and Equality (Kultur- og likestillingsdepartementet, KUD) is the ministry responsible for areas including sport and the voluntary sector. It is the legal owner of the Facilities register, a national register of sports and outdoor recreation facilities that have received gaming funds. The ministry's specialist departments manage the data itself and publish it for municipalities, sports organisations, planners and the public to view.

What the Ministry of Culture and Equality gives you

The data, and what it decides

For home buyers, being close to sports facilities, multi-use games areas, floodlit trails and playgrounds is a well-known measure of how attractive a location is, especially for families with children. For developers, it is useful in prospecting material and as documentation for municipal authorities in zoning cases. KUD also oversees bodies such as Arts Council Norway and the Norwegian Gaming and Foundation Authority, but these are not yet connected to Placepoint.

The Ministry of Culture and Equality (KUD) is responsible for government policy and administration in culture, equality and discrimination, copyright, media, sport, voluntary work, and gaming and lotteries.
