One lookup, not one portal per source
Enova SF is one of 37 vendors. The data sits on the property alongside registers, plans and risk data from the others.
Datavert · Market and business
Enova SF is a state enterprise owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Climate and Environment. It manages two registers that Placepoint uses. The first is the energy labelling scheme for buildings, the source of Enova Energy Labelling. The second is NOBIL, the register of electric vehicle charging stations and the source of EV charging stations (supplied to Placepoint by Geodata AS). An energy certificate is required when housing or commercial buildings are sold or let. It describes the building's heating system and energy needs and gives a grade from A to G. Buyers and tenants can use the grade to judge running costs and sustainability.

What Enova SF gives you
NOBIL was set up in June 2010 to collect and share information about charging stations for plug-in vehicles. The database now also covers hydrogen and biogas. Data comes from electric car drivers, charging station owners, operators and other contributors. Many operators, including Circle K, Eviny, Mer, Recharge and Tesla, send data directly to NOBIL through OCPI. The data is freely available through an API under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, credited as "NOBIL av Enova". The Swedish part is run by Energimyndigheten (the Swedish Energy Agency). From October 2025, the API no longer covers Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
Enova also runs funding schemes for the energy transition in industry, transport and buildings, but the energy label and NOBIL are the parts relevant to property analysis in Placepoint.

From source to map
Registers, maps and services as the vendor publishes them.
We collect from the source, not from a copy of a copy, as often as the source is updated.
Linked to cadastre number and Organization Number, quality-assured, with source and date on every field.
Map, property panel, reports, Placepoint API and MCP.
Why Enova SF in Placepoint
Enova SF is one of 37 vendors. The data sits on the property alongside registers, plans and risk data from the others.
We link the data to the cadastre number before you open the map. No keys, no import.
Updates follow the source: weekly. Every field shows its date.
Every dataset is marked with Enova SF as the vendor, so you can document your sources in a report.
Each dataset follows its source's update schedule, shown for that dataset. The category is the map layer group the dataset sits under in Fusion.
How to get started
We show you the data on properties you know.
Use an address, cadastre number or the map. The panel shows what is registered on the property.
The layers from this source are in the layer picker, sorted by category.
The Placepoint API and the MCP server give you the same data programmatically.
The table above shows how often each dataset is updated, which follows the source. Every field in Placepoint shows its source and date.
Yes. The Placepoint API exposes the same datasets programmatically, and the MCP server makes them available to AI agents. You can export extracts and reports from the platform.
The datasets are part of your Placepoint subscription. Where the source charges a fee for individual documents, such as registered documents from Kartverket, the price follows the source's fee.
