We at Placepoint are very pleased that Mestergruppen has chosen us to help them digitalise early-stage area development.
- Digitalisation is an important focus area for Mestergruppen. We have been looking for a good, efficient tool for early-stage area development that lets you quickly assess the opportunities and profitability of a project on a solid factual basis. The combination of a wealth of relevant information, a 3D housing map and sketching tools, as well as good visualisation of potential opportunities in a development project, is the main reason why we have entered into this partnership with Placepoint, says Stine Røsand, Director of Contracting Chains at Mestergruppen.
Automation and digitalisation
Placepoint, for its part, is very pleased to be able to enter into a partnership with such a major property player.
- The partnership with Mestergruppen is of great importance to us on several levels. Naturally, we see this as a vote of confidence and as proof that the development taking place here every single day is in demand among significant players in our industry, says Peder Sunde, CEO of Placepoint.
Sunde believes that the property market in Norway is overripe for embracing the automation and digitalisation of processes that are traditionally known for being manual and time-consuming.
- Not least, interest is growing now that the market is heading into a more challenging period and needs to become more efficient and reduce the risk of making costly bad investments.
Launching for member companies
Mestergruppen has four housing chains with a total of more than 300 member companies. The aim is for the solution Placepoint offers to provide value for the vast majority of them.
- Such close collaboration with small and large dealers across the whole country will give us unique insight into the various challenges they face when looking for new opportunities, says Sunde.
Mestergruppen, for its part, is pleased to have found a player that already has a solid platform, combined with significant development capacity.
- It is crucial for us that we can visualise our own house models in the map and carry out calculations for an entire area – both profitability assessments and showing total CO2 emissions, concludes Røsand.
