Placepoint acquires Sweden’s Combify in its third acquisition and steps into Sweden

The Norwegian decision platform for property is entering the Swedish market and stepping up the consolidation of Nordic proptech.

We have acquired Sweden’s Combify, and with it we are taking our first step into the Swedish market. It is our third acquisition in a short space of time, following Vogl and Speiz, and a clear step in the consolidation of a fragmented Nordic proptech market.

In Norway we have built Placepoint into the place where property professionals make decisions based on data rather than guesswork. Today we have more than 850 customers and over NOK 60 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). With Combify we are entering a market that is considerably larger than the Norwegian one, with the aim of becoming the leading decision platform for property in the Nordics, and over time in Europe.

Combify provides site and zoning data from all 290 of Sweden’s municipalities via API and SaaS. For us, this is both a data asset and a foothold. Combify will be the base for rolling out the full Placepoint package in Sweden this autumn. Instead of building Sweden from scratch, we gain a team, a customer base and datasets that are difficult and time-consuming to recreate.

Machine learning has been central to both companies from the start, and the recently launched Combify AI Agent puts us at the forefront of AI for property professionals. It is increasingly this capability that sets decision platforms apart from one another.

The strategy is deliberate. Each acquisition adds data, technology or reach that strengthens the core platform. The three acquisitions in 2025–2026 are steps towards a single Nordic category leader, not a collection of national point solutions. The purchase price is not being disclosed.

“Combify takes us into Sweden and gives us the data and technology to build a true Nordic decision platform for property. We are not buying it for the customer count, but for unique data and technology that are a perfect fit for us. This is our third acquisition in a short space of time, and we are only just getting started.”. Daniel Nilsen, CEO of Placepoint
“Becoming part of Placepoint means that everything we have built at Combify now reaches across the entire Nordic region.”. Alaa Alshawa, founder of Combify
