Placepoint is on the proptech map

Placepoint has been on the market for just over six months. We are already in good company on Norges Eiendomsmeglerforbund’s proptech map!

Since 2016, Norges Eiendomsmeglerforbund (NEF) has published what it calls the Norwegian proptech map. This is an interactive map developed by NEF’s proptech advisory board. Here you will find people from exciting companies such as Nordr, Malling and Findable, in addition to NEF itself. At the Proptech 2022 conference on 14 June, it was time to reveal this year’s newcomers.
Nearly 40 proptech companies were assessed by the jury against a range of criteria, such as technology being a decisive factor in the company’s viability, the company having to use new or existing technology that makes the property market more efficient, and the company behind the technology either having its headquarters in Norway, having been founded by a Norwegian or playing a significant role in the Norwegian property market. 13 of the proptech companies made the cut, and one of them was Placepoint.

“We are very pleased to make it onto the proptech map in our very first year as a commercial company,” says Peder Sunde, CEO of Placepoint. “It is yet another confirmation that the two years we have invested in development have been a good investment, and that we have a right to exist. Commercially, we have only just started our journey, and with all the exciting new tools launching in the period ahead, we are very optimistic about the time ahead – even in an industry where clouds can be glimpsed on the horizon.
